I am a recent Chemistry graduate from Cardiff University, having achieved a First Class degree with an average of 75% and ranking in the top 5% of my cohort.
To further develop my knowledge and understanding of chemistry, I am due to begin my PhD at the University of Glasgow from October 2019. I really love all things science and have a real drive to pass on what I know to other people. I also have a real passion for medicine and artificial intelligence.
I am a very friendly and understanding individual. I was a member of Chemistry Club at school which involved looking after and teaching younger people from the age 12 onwards various things from how to approach different problems in Chemistry means I have developed a range of tutoring techniques to suit any person, having been the President of Cardiff University’s Chemistry Society, which helps to encourage more students to study Chemistry at university and enjoy the social side to their studies.
I am very flexible in how these sessions run with you having the say on what is covered. Whether you want a top-down approach of the syllabus or just want to fire through some questions I will do my best to explain things in a simple and easy to understand manner so you’ll have a complete knowledge on that concept.
The main idea with my tuition will be to make the subject more enjoyable which goes a long a way to making it more understandable. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to send me a message or book a “Meet the Tutor” session for free over this website.
Just be sure to message me the exam board and any particular topics you are struggling with so we can get the ball rolling as soon as possible. I look forward to meeting you soon!
We only take tutor applications from candidates who are studying at the UK’s leading universities. Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the TiC team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach. About 1 in 10 becomes a tutor on our site.
