The Federal Chancellor of Austria

Staying true to its Canadian roots, Canadian International School of Hong Kong likes to roll out the red carpet when the school welcomes guests to its Aberdeen campus. And the last few months, the school has hosted some key dignitaries.

The Federal Chancellor of Austria

His Excellency the Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria, Mr. Sebastian Kurz, learned first-hand about the innovative teaching and learning taking place at CDNIS in August. Accompanied by numerous Ministers and prominent Austrian business leaders, the Federal Chancellor witnessed how CDNIS incorporates technology into its programme.

Stanley Cup

In September, hockey fans got to live out one of their biggest dreams when the Stanley Cup visited the school. The Cup was accompanied by its keeper, Phil Pritchard, and a member of the 2001 Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche, Alex Tanguay.

Rugby 7s

In late March, CDNIS once again hosted the Canadian’s Rugby 7s Men’s team ahead of the Hong Kong 7s. Rugby fans watched an open practice session, before the Canadian team held a training skills and scrimmage session with young rugby players.
