Hong Kong welcomes its first kindergarten to be taught in Italian

The Italian International Kindergarten will be the 1st kindergarten in Hong Kong that teaches Italian, along with English and some Mandarin Chinese. Not only will the curriculum be taught in Italian, the kindergarten is also using the Reggio Emilia approach. This philosophy allows children to learn and explore at their own pace. The adoption of the Reggio Emilia approach is a nice alternative to the standard drill-based repetitive system that is the norm in Hong Kong. ITS welcomes this as we host the Italian Medical Admissions Test (IMAT). It looks like Italian is getting more important in Hong Kong for all ages!
