Essay mills change their tactics

As we have previously posted in From the Chalkface, PayPal has withdrawn their service for essay mills selling papers by the page to students. As a result, these companies have had to change their strategy, and one new approach they are taking is infiltrating students’ group chats at unis in the UK. A professor at one of the universities targeted described the firms’ tactics as “abhorrent.”

However, a spokesperson for one of the essay mills said that this approach has had limited success, as the students tend to think that the messages are the universities themselves setting them up.
