Corporations paying their staff tuition fees. Great idea!
This recent article on the BBC tells how Starbucks in the UK has started paying for it staff to study online courses from Arizona State University. This is a great example of how corporations can take social responsibility for their staff. I would hope that more large companies can take inspiration from this model and do something similar for their own staff. It would be great, for example, if Starbucks expanded the scheme here to Hong Kong. This would offer a recruitment advantage for companies and it is nice to see businesses investing in the future of their staff.
