Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong takes the learning of language seriously – Chinese is taught to every child every day.

Dr. Suyi Wang, Chief Academic Officer for Chinese Studies, has developed a curriculum tailored to students’ specific language needs. Supported by her specialist team, they deliver programmes to Advanced, Intermediate and Foundation groups. Every child therefore has the opportunity to develop their reading, writing, speaking and listening at an appropriate pace and level.

On Thursday November 29, 2018, Dr Suyi will share an insight into the unique methodology at the heart of her Chinese language programme and discuss the ways in which they help to foster a collaborative learning environment, ensuring communicative competence for all students.

The event is free and you are encouraged to bring a friend in the spirit of relationship building.

First Session: 2:00pm – *this session will be delivered in Chinese and will focus upon the Advanced level programme.
Second Session: 3:20pm – *this session will be delivered in English and will focus upon the Foundation and Intermediate level programmes.
